Chevalley Moving & Storage has been providing professional residential, corporate and industrial moving services, as well as storage solutions, since it was founded by Gustave Chevalley in 1929.
Chevalley is still family owned and continues to place it’s greatest emphasis on quality of service. Reliable, motivated employees make all the difference when it comes to giving great customer service. Our staff is comprised of full-time employees, and most are long term employees with many years of experience. Our top nine employees have over 240 years of combined service with the company. We offer our employees reasonable wages and benefits to ensure they are motivated to provide excellent service with a personal touch. Some of our drivers have moved families multiple times, to the point that corporate families will adjust their move accordingly to the schedule of their favorite driver. Our customers appreciate the fact that their favorite driver will pack, load, drive to the new destination, unload, and unpack without a change of personnel, even when storage is involved.

To maintain quality, we also own, operate and maintain all of our own tractors, trailers and associated equipment, avoiding the use of owner-operators.

Our Dewey facility has 40,000 square feet of warehouse storage space, including 5,000 square feet of Climate Controlled Storage, and also includes a complete three-bay maintenance shop, packing and carpenter shop and our own 120,000 lb. electronic Fairbanks scales.
